Background
Eli is a co-founder and Private Wealth Consultant with Up Financial. After working for a major national financial institution he quickly saw that he wanted to create a firm that offered a better way to help clients. He knew the key was unbiased planning that only comes from being an independent advisor. With a commitment to education Eli has become one of Canada’s most educated financial advisors.
Eli lives with his wife Erin and two children (Sully & Dot) in Calgary, AB.
Education
Eli is a graduate of Mount Royal University and currently holds the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) designation as well the Chartered Investment Manager® (CIM), Trust & Estate Practitioner (TEP), Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU), Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) and Certified Executor Advisor (CEA) designations. He is also a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute® (FCSI) for having met the highest standards for education, ethics and experience as a financial professional.
He is currently completing the Registered Financial Planner (RFP) designation through the Institute of Advanced Financial Planners as well as completing his CFP® designation in the US.
