Background

Eli is a co-founder and licensed Private Wealth Consultant with Up Financial. After working for a major national financial institution he quickly saw that he wanted to create a firm that offered a better way to help clients. He knew the key was unbiased planning and a Fiduciary Standard of Care that only comes from being an independent advisor. With a commitment to education Eli has become one of Canada’s most educated financial advisors and has ranked as one of Calgary’s Best Financial Advisors.

Eli lives with his wife Erin and son Sullivan (Sully) in Calgary, AB.

Education

Eli is a graduate of Mount Royal University and currently holds the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) designation as well the Chartered Investment Manager® (CIM), Trust & Estate Practitioner (TEP), Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU), Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) and Certified Executor Advisor (CEA) designations. He is also a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute® (FCSI) for having met the highest standards for education, ethics and experience as a financial professional.

He is currently completing the Registered Financial Planner (RFP) designation through the Institute of Advanced Financial Planners as well as completing his registration with the SEC to be registered to manage US accounts and increase the firms cross-border wealth management.
